Iron-IQ Adds Standalone Measurement & Polling Offering, Launches Atlas PM
Your meters are your cash register.
Now there's a better way to manage them.
For independent oil and gas operators, measurement validation isn't optional. Every cubic foot of gas, every barrel of liquids. It all flows through electronic flow meters. Those numbers drive revenue reporting, state filings, buyer settlements, and royalty payments.
Yet for a meaningful portion of the independent market, the process of validating that data still looks like this: field technicians retrieving EFM files once a month, back-office staff entering numbers into spreadsheets, and hoping the math holds up at settlement.
Today, we're announcing a strategic acquisition that changes what Iron-IQ can offer these operators and what our platform represents in the market.
What We Added
Iron-IQ has added a proprietary EFM polling engine, a gas and liquids measurement validation system, and a comprehensive library of over 30 protocol drivers covering virtually every major electronic flow computer in the field, from ABB Totalflow and Emerson ROC to Omni, Honeywell Mercury, Barton, Cameron, and more.
This technology is being integrated into our platform and rebranded as Atlas PM (Polling & Measurement).
Why This Matters
Before this, Iron-IQ's Patch-IQ product relied on a third-party polling engine to communicate with electronic flow meters. That dependency sat between us and the meter, constrained our pricing, reduced our flexibility, and left a foundational part of our stack in someone else's hands.
Now we own the polling engine. That is a structural shift, not a feature enhancement.
Owning the polling layer means we directly retrieve EFM file history and real-time device values without licensing a third-party protocol translation layer. We control how measurement data is acquired, normalized, and integrated into our platform. And we gain the ability to build advanced capabilities directly into the stack. Capabilities that weren't possible when the communication layer belonged to someone else.
The Full Stack
With Atlas PM, Iron-IQ now controls the entire measurement-to-operations pipeline:
This moves Iron-IQ from a cloud SCADA platform that integrates with measurement systems to a vertically integrated measurement and operations company.
Built for Independent Operators
The enterprise measurement validation market has an established player. It's powerful, mature, and priced accordingly.
For many small and mid-sized independents, that system is expensive and oversized. The fallback? Manual processes.
Atlas PM is designed for this underserved segment: a modern, cloud-integrated, and economically accessible measurement validation platform that brings audit-grade rigor to operators who have been priced out of enterprise solutions or stuck on spreadsheets.
What's Next
We're modernizing this technology and integrating it into Iron-IQ's cloud architecture. And here's what matters most: you don't need SCADA to use Atlas PM. For operators who aren't ready for full SCADA deployment, Atlas PM works as a standalone measurement collection and validation system and as a native polling engine for oil and gas field devices. Straightforward meter-count pricing, no bundling required.
For operators who do want the full picture, Atlas PM bundles with Patch-IQ hosting and Galileo analytics to deliver measurement-informed operations where validated production data doesn't just sit in a report, but actively drives operational decisions.
We'll also be enabling measurement contractors to resell Atlas PM alongside their calibration and validation services, opening a channel distribution path to operators we may not currently serve.
Our Position
We're not claiming to replace enterprise systems overnight. We're building something different: a modern measurement and operations platform that starts with the operators who need it most and grows from there.
Nearly every operator needs a measurement validation system. The real question in much of the independent market has never been whether they need one. It's whether they can afford one.
Now they can.
